ARCHITECTURE
I view architectural study as a challenge to the colonial and capitalist forces that shape our built environment, particularly weaponized against the Global South. While also incorporating formal design and construction, my practice includes spatial analysis, counter-mapping, tactical repurposing, and collective design processes that aim to serve both movement-building and liberatory struggles.
These projects are sometimes not object-based: I believe architecture should also include frameworks for reclaimation, tools for coordinating action, or strategies for undermining spatial control. I look at architectural design as political work that must be rooted in solidarity, and serve the people.
