SEAN EREN

I am a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in New York City. My practice encompasses jewelry, hybrid musical instruments, and architectural design. I graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) with a BFA in Jewelry + Metalsmithing in 2022, where I worked to integrate craft metalsmithing and woodworking techniques with industrial materials and electronic components. This fusion led me into larger scale work and installations, and eventually into spatial design.

For this design approach, I had the honor of receiving the Center for Craft’s Windgate-Lamar Fellowship in 2022. Until 2024, I also held a CAD engineering position at David Yurman, a renowned American jewelry company. I am now a Master of Architecture Candidate at Columbia University in the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP), where I am currently researching and developing architectural designs and interventions through an anti-imperialist lens.
